Meditation

What Is Meditation?

It is said that meditation is the space between thoughts. When you meditate you bring your awareness inward. By learning how to quiet the mind and relax the body you become more aware of the person you really are, and this allows you to be able to experience peace, tranquility and enlightenment. Primitive societies may have been the first to practice a form of meditation by staring into the flames of their campfires. With longevity of over 3000 years, it is safe to say Meditation can work.

It is easy to learn, and with practice, you can experience profound positive changes in your life. Experienced meditators, and those new to meditation, can feel comfortable, and gain benefits from these classes.

With modern life’s denanding hectic pace, many people feel stressed and over-worked, as if there is not enough time in the day to get everything done. Our stress and tiredness make us unhappy, impatient and frustrated. It can even affect our health. However, meditation actually gives you more time by making your mind calmer and more focused. A simple daily meditation can help you to overcome your stress and find some inner peace and balance.  It can also help us understand our own mind. We can learn how to transform our mind from negative to positive, from disturbed to peaceful, from unhappy to happy.
